Short Answer:
What do you envision is the role of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in regulating business and protecting the environment?
Nixon began the EPA to ensure that the businesses were being mindful to the environment. It does not matter if you are a oil change business or a fuel creating business, the environment belongs to all people and creatures of the planet. The agency has to ensure that cheap tricks to turn a profit are not done. The agency must also be held to a standard to not allow tricks to occur due to intentional oversight by agents and leaders.
How would you describe the status of civil rights in the US today?
The laws are on the books. Writing more laws without a means of enforcement does is not a solution. Americans are at a point were we are allowing division. It is too easy to say that something or someone is treating a person unfair. The reality, we do not communicate with each other well. It is easy to judge one another. Hate is an evil and we must overcome that evil.
What will you do to expand access to affordable, accessible housing for low-income people in the United States?
I do not like federal housing projects. The management of these developments have failed in every community which built. Affordable housing can exist. This should be a state issue first. The housing however, cannot be state of art buildings. We have to build simple housing that allows a family to safely live until they can build equity and move on to new housing that they can afford. Government housing should not be a final solution.

I am a pro life person. However, I do not feel it is the federal government’s job to tell the states they must provide a service in this field. I wish abortion could be a subject of the past. I know it will not be. I do support limits to the first trimester, unless true harm can occur to the mother and/or child. I also feel that the choice is not mine as an outsider, this is a decision that must be made among the advice of the mother, family, physician and the Lord. No politician needs to be involved.
Minimum wage is a states’ issue.
Government funded medications should be sold to the people at a cost of 10%.
All people should have a protection to not have to face discriminations due to their natural being and something out of their true control. I do support businesses that decide someone may not be a fit in their operation and choose to go a different way.
The U.S. needs to begin pulling back on our role as the world’s police and focus on the needs in the United States.
